Join us on a walk through historical surroundings. We stroll between small picturesque houses and boathouses that make up the charming coastal environment in Vikøyri. We visit one of the small houses that still stands exactly as it was left in the old days.

The tour includes a tasting of gamalost. Gammalost has its roots in the Viking Age. The local dairy is today the only dairy in the country that produces this unique, traditional cheese. Along with the cheese, you will be served raspberry juice from Vik. In Vik municipality, about 25% of all raspberries for consumption in Norway are produced.
